Ohio Statehouse Ten Commandments Monument

COLUMBUS, OH-Reform America, an Ohio based non profit Christian organization, is planning to donate a monument of the Ten Commandments to be erected at the Ohio State House in Columbus.

According to Mark Harrington, President of Reform America, “The two recent decisions of the US Supreme Court have focused attention on the need for such a display. An overwhelming percentage of Americans believe the Ten Commandments should be displayed in government buildings. Also, the recent Texas Supreme Court decision gives Ohioans a framework for the display of the Ten Commandments at the Ohio State House.”

Harrington is seeking the support of state lawmakers. As of July 1, five State Representatives have offered their support for the 10 Commandment Monument project. They include Representatives Danny Bubp, Linda Reidelbach, Diana Fessler, Mike Gilb and Tom Brinkman.

Harrington is also seeking donations, which can be made by contacting Reform America at www.reformamerica.com

   The Ohio Constitution reads:

We, the people of the state of Ohio, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, to secure its blessing and promote our common welfare do establish this Constitution.
