Correction on political commentary
Dear Editor
I am a candidate for the office of Judge of the Court of Appeals of Ohio, Second District. The Second District includes the six Counties of Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami and Montgomery.
I reviewed your editorial comments about me on Page 8A of the February 2008 issue, (of the Citizen USA), and I appreciate all but one of the observations you made. You are correct in stating my view that a Judge should not legislate from the bench and that I share the cherished values of faith and family. You also correctly identify me as a Magistrate of the Greene County Common Please Court, General Division. But you incorrectly call me “Judge Reynolds” instead of “Magistrate Reynolds” in your column. I had no knowledge that you would do this, and I in no way want to give anyone the wrong impression that I am a Judge. I aspire to be a Judge and I am running for election for the office Judge of the Court of Appeals of Ohio, second District, but I am not a Judge.
Sincerely, George B Reynolds
Bellbrook Oho
