Will we ever stop apologizing? by Pendra Lee Snyder CCN-USA
As long as we remain trapped in our human form and stumble through this life we will have need to continue to apologize for things we do, don’t do, don’t think about doing or think too much about and then do stupid things because of it.
It is our hope, however, that the distance between the actions that require contrition are further and further between.
However, this time we are apologizing to our editorial cartoonist, Jon Myers. He’s a great brother with a wonderfully cynical sense of humor when it comes to politics and cultural events and a faithful friend. (Also a much admired, underpaid cartoonist).
Jon, we are sorry, but we cannot run your March cartoon. It’s not because we are selling out to the homosexual community, but because Rosie O'Donnell doesn’t have a clue about socks, either.
See you next issue!
