Procrastination Gets You No Where

It seems like every fall and winter after an easy summer, we have problem break downs due to lack of maintenance. This year is no exception. With temperatures staying in the pleasant 70’s, we loose track of potential problems with the air conditioning components of our vehicles. Lack of heat load allows some major parts to work until they create a costly repair and leave a vehicle owner stranded.
The bad part about most vehicles is that is a compressor failure occurs; the engine serpentine belt can not be rerouted. This is because of the importance of the compressure hub assembly.
The procrastination part comes into full play with owners putting off, or completely ignoring these problems thinking they are only seasonal. There is nothing further than the truth than the previous statement. Modern heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) operate year round. They maximize the complete functions from max air to defrost mode commands. Along these same lines of thought come the partial repairs or back yard patch jobs. This only adds expense to the already present problem, by creating situations that could end up costing thousands to repair, or even leave your vehicle incapacitated.
The repair lists associated with procrastinated repairs are not limited to the HVAC system. This list could also include the cooling system, tune-up maintenance, brakes, and ride control to name a few.
The bottom line is that nobody rides for free. Normal maintenance cycles and not waiting for something to break before making the needed repairs will save you money in the long run. A repair facility that promotes good scheduled maintenance and helping making your vehicle dependable is what we have to offer you. This will give you peace of mind this winter when the snow starts blowing and the wind is howling that you and your family will not end up stranded.
The tow companies won’t enjoy the fact that you have thought ahead, but you will be glad you made the investment.
